The Décor Library is a large collection of art pieces—primarily small sculptures and some wall art—that residents of either Haven House or Cloud Nine Studios are free to borrow to decorate their own spaces. A large number of these art objects were made by local female artists, and when available, additional information about them can be found using the Exploratory Gallery function. In addition, residents have access to a collection of thousands of curated digital art images

Residents of trauma recovery housing facilities often do not bring any decorative items with them. Allowing them to personalize their space with art and décor objects of their choosing should give them a greater sense of comfort with, control over, and connection to their home environment.

Objective: To increase self-efficacy and mitigate depression, worthlessness, and detachment.
